Born in 1909 in Nkroful, Western Region, Nkrumah dedicated his life to fighting for Ghana's independence and pan-African unity. Early Life and Education Nkrumah's educational background played a significant role in shaping his future. He attended Achimota School, Lincoln University, and the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned multiple degrees, including a Master's in philosophy and education.
